Hi fans and friends, This is our first announcement as Pitch Black Process. We made a hard decision due to some conflict and confusion we have been faced at abroad and net, and left our 12 years old name behind.
Thanks all of you who support us from the beginning and thanks to you all who support us with their messages /comments at the ending period of Affliction.
It's kinda fresh start for us and we are very excited about new era! See you all with some good news and new materials soon.

We would like to thank all of you who came to our gigs, bought our albums and support us last 12 years.

To KALMAR...
As our friends and funs know we have a huge sympathy, if it would not be a strong word “love”, for Sweden for a long time. In Kalmar, seeing that love reflects more than we could imagine from the people there was indescribable! You definately made us feel like home!!! Thank you one by one all attendants of the show.
And of course we would like to thank for their great hospitality to KCR crew!
We think, we could easily say: We are a band from Izmir-TURKEY/Kalmar-SWEDEN from now on!
We love you KALMAR!

Bad news and good news about Kalmar
We regret to announce that Kalmar Rockbay festival which we were eagerly looking forward to play was canceled due to “economic fundementals”. You could check the official statement from kalmarcityrock.se
But we are happy that our Kalmar journey is keep going; we have a gig which will be organized by KCR!
We have seen the KCR team’s great effort and dedication about doing something in Kalmar for rock/metal and their great interest and support about Affliction from the day one. They made us feel like we are a part of KCR!
We would like to thank all KCR team and metalheads in Kalmar and would like to tell that we will always support KCR!

Affliction at Kalmar Rockbay Festival
Affliction going to play at Rockbay Festival (Sweden) which will take place first time with the names like Dark Tranquillity, Evergrey, Engel and Witchery on 28th of August.
Official statement from Affliction:
We are going to play in Sweden for the first time with some of our favorite artists. Besides we are going to be the only band from abroad in the festival, which is a great honor for us. Also, we are glad to provide what little support we can to the metalheads at KCR in their pursuit to make this first time event an ongoing one.
After almost 10000 km and 18 shows (first one is missed unfortunatelly) without off, we are at home.
We would like to thank all of you who came to shows and support us intensely!
Also we would like to thank our new friends and great guys; Kevill, Adam, Nic, John and Andy of Warbringer! It was so great to tour with you guys. Had a great time and fun. We are looking forward to another one as soon as possible!

Affliction team up with PRS
Affliction proudly announce that Emrah and Kerem are part of the PRS family now and Affliction is one of the official artist of PRS!
Affliction is going to use SE Torero model which is offers many “firsts” for PRS Guitars, and is dubbed by Paul Reed Smith himself as “a shredder’s dream.” Features unique to the new SE Torero and first ever for PRS are the use of a Floyd Rose bridge, EMG pickups, and neck-through body construction.

"www" is released
“www” is the first metal video from Turkey shot with an XDCAM HD and also the first music video to be distributed on the web in HD.
Affliction made the last official video for "Execution is Necessary" last weekend with director Daniel Larsson for the song "www". The band going to start working on new materials soon. Release date of the video will be announced.

Affliction signed with Insano Booking for worldwide management and bookings.
We parted ways with Dyskfunctional Records and IHG Live Management.
We apologize to our fans who has been waiting for our USA tour which was scheduled to start in July.
We hope we will be able to tour the US anyways in a near future.
